My son has always been treated like an adult! He's never gotten along with people his own age, as he has nothing in common with them. As much as I encouraged him to mix with others his age, he wanted no part of it. So all his friends have been adults. He and I are best buddies! I've never been over protective. Can't stand parents that smother their children! But, even with treating him as an adult, he still rebelled! It's called puberty!! So yeah....next!!
