WATCH US WORK: WOOD PRIVACY FENCE Time-Lapse fenceworkshop.com WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON: In this video, one of the Fence Workshop™ crews builds a custom wood privacy fence around a backyard pool. As is with all our wood fences, we fully built this fence on-site, board by board. The alternative is to build the fence with pre-made fence panels from major home improvement stores like Home Depot or Lowes. Fully building a wood privacy fence on-site is always better than building it from pre-made fence panels which can leave unsightly and unsecured gaps below the fence. We built this pressure treated pine privacy fence primarily out of 6x6 posts , 2x5's and 1x6 pickets. After framing and picketing the fence, we added a custom top for looks. It turns out the fence is very popular among neighbors as it looks great and secures a backyard pool.
